  1. Beautiful piece. Osogbo was founded by Larooye from Ipole ijesa and Timehin. Also Ilemure was not founded by Owa Ajibogun but renamed Ibu Okun (Ibokun) after Ajibogun beheaded Ita who was then the ruler over the renamed Ilemure. The Only town Owa Ajibogun founded was Ilu-Owa (Ilowa) which has the remaining Omi Okun flowing till date, Three (3) White sea stones sprouting like yam in front of the Owa Obokun Ajibogun shrine in Ilowa-Ijesa. Ilowa also has the burial sites of the First 3 successive Owas of Ijesha land namely Owa Oka Okile, Owa Obarabara Olokun Eshin, Owari, Owa Eyinyinleura, also the site where Owa Ajibogun disappeared into the ground at Ilekete Ilowa Ijesa. Thanks always for putting us all in the know of age long history. More Grace sir.
